Located just outside of Chattanooga TN at the Highlands Riding Center, Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit organization that was started in 2009. At the Highlands Riding Center, we offer a variety of services and strive to create a close-knit community that fosters a fun and safe learning environment. We offer several lesson options for riders of all levels including therapy. We have discovered that through a relationship with horses, students discover skills such as commitment, hard work, leadership, confidence and awareness as well as harmony, balance, courage, and accomplishment. Horses offer us the ability to look inside ourselves and experience a whole new level of being. HTRP encourages you to come out and discover the power these magnificent animals hold.

Stoney River Pony Club Combined Show

The Stones River Pony Club is hosting a Combined Show on March 8-9.

    Everyone that went did FANTASTIC at the show!

    Heather came home with a 2nd in Greenie Weenie on Chester and a 4th in Intro Test B on Cheyenne.

    Ashley came home with 2 3rds (one in Intro Test B div. C and one in Training Level Test 2 div. C) on Rose.

    Maria came home with 2 3rds (one in Intro Test B div. B and one in Training Level Test 2 div. B) on S.A. Expresso (Essai).
