Located just outside of Chattanooga TN at the Highlands Riding Center, Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit organization that was started in 2009. At the Highlands Riding Center, we offer a variety of services and strive to create a close-knit community that fosters a fun and safe learning environment. We offer several lesson options for riders of all levels including therapy. We have discovered that through a relationship with horses, students discover skills such as commitment, hard work, leadership, confidence and awareness as well as harmony, balance, courage, and accomplishment. Horses offer us the ability to look inside ourselves and experience a whole new level of being. HTRP encourages you to come out and discover the power these magnificent animals hold.

Upcoming Barn Horse Show AND Tack/Yard Sale!!

Don't forget about our upcoming barn show!!  Everyone is welcome to participate in the show!  There are classes for all levels of students.  Please contact Caitlin if you are interested so that you can reserve your horse of choice for the show.

We will have a tack and yard sale going on throughout the show.  Items include everything from Western and English Saddles to Halters.

Even if you aren't planning to show, stop by and check it out!!
